Western Samurai Rourkala (WSR ) become the first Champion of Odisha Premier League 2011 by defeating Katak Barabati Tiger by 4 runs in Final match played on 12.06.2011 at Cuttack Barabati Stadium.Sambalpur is the home ground of WSR and before starting of their league match they visited Maa Samleswari Temple at Sambalpur.
